On the new episode of “The Orville” this week fans really wondered what was going on with Alara, played by Halston Sage. She had a few problems and ended up going home for a bit. After getting better, Alara headed back to work, but that didn’t last for long.

By the end of “The Orville,” Alara was telling everyone goodbye. This came as a shock. It is hard to imagine the show without her, but she seems to be moving on. So is she really leaving?

Well, the actress that plays this character is Halston Sage and she is a very busy actress. She will be on the new show “Magnum, P.I.” but it sounds like it is only for one episode. Halston also recently did a movie “The Last Summer”, a movie with K.J. Apa, who plays Archie on “Riverdale”. As of right now, she isn’t saying if she is leaving or coming back.

The fans would love to see her come back again, but so far it is kind of up in the air. That probably means that Halston Sage could end up coming back or at least making an appearance now and then.

Oh and what about that jar of pickles? It was important to Alara and Mercer if you don’t remember. On the very first episode, Mercer couldn’t open a vault door and asked her for help. He teased calling it a jar of pickles and the next thing you know she knocks down an entire wall showing how strong she really is.

Hopefully, Alara will return to “The Orville” at some point, but for now, it doesn’t look like she will be around. Instead, you can catch Halston Sage
