‘Survivor: Millennials Vs. Gen X’ Starts With an Evacuation Due To A Cyclone

It is finally time for the big season premiere of “Survivor: Millennials Vs. Gen X.” Fans couldn’t be more excited, but huge spoilers are out that things don’t go as planned. They will have to actually evacuate everyone just two days into filming the show due to a cyclone. Hollywood Life shared the details of what happened.

Jeff Probst shared that this is the first time in “Survivor” history that everyone has been evacuated like this. Jeff explained the details to EW.

“For 32 seasons of Survivor, we’ve been very lucky to have escaped some severe storms. This time, the storm caught us. It was only day two and in a matter of hours, a nice afternoon turned into a severe rainstorm that kept growing in intensity by the hour. We were monitoring the weather minute by minute back at base camp. When the national Fijian weather service upgraded it to a cyclone, we had to evacuate both tribes from their beaches and get them to safety. We have never had to evacuate tribes in 32 seasons of Survivor.”

It is going to be crazy to watch this all go down on “Survivor,” but it does sound like everything turns out okay. You can watch it all on the big 90-minute premiere of “Survivor: Millennials Vs. Gen X” when it airs tonight on CBS. You can catch new episodes every Wednesday night.
