Nick Carter of The Backstreet Boys is a dad! News came out today from ET Online that his wife Lauren Kitt gave birth to a little boy. They named their son Odin Reign Carter, who was born at 8 lbs. 11 oz.

Lauren went through 30 hours of labor at home during a water birth before having their son. Nick and Lauren were quiet about the name until the was born, but had shared it was a strong name. It turns out that Odin, in Germanic mythology, is a “widely revered god.”   When they did their maternity pics, Nick spoke out and shared how great things are for this couple.

“I hate getting emotional but seeing her like that triggered this influx of emotions that really made me realize what’s happening in our life. Without each other, the two of us would never have gotten to this point, so it feels amazing and it’s crazy how much more in love you can become when you start this phase of your life.”

Fans found out that Nick and Lauren were having a little boy during his time on “Dancing With the Stars.” Nick had a big gender reveal on the show. So far, the couple hasn’t shared pics of their son, but everyone can’t wait to see Odin Reign Carter when they are ready.
